A calm and contented nature resides in all of us. Yoga practice can help us find this place of peace and balance.
Yoga is for everyone.
With a background in dance and vocal performance, I have always appreciated the health and emotional benefits of physical movement and sound. My love for Yoga began when conducting Integrative Medicine research at a world renowned cancer center. In 2011, I completed my first RYT-200 certification with Shakti Yoga, under the direction of Anna Winkler and Deborah Kurilla, where I studied Iyengar, Ashtanga, and Anusaura Yoga. I completed my second RYT-200 certification at Dhyana Yoga Arts, under the direction of Deanna Sidoti, where I developed a whole new appreciation and love of Vinyasa, meditation, and making yoga accessible for all.
My teaching style is one of encouragement, warmth and a touch of humor. I love to help students achieve a sense of accomplishment and peace. My classes offer an integration of yoga philosophy with a meditative and alignment focused physical practice.
To provide a safe and encouraging environment for people of all ages and abilities to find balance and peace through the practice of Yoga
